The Ultimate Green Goddess Sandwich Guide

The perfect Green Goddess sandwich is a balancing act: it’s herby, creamy, crunchy, crisp and fresh.

When done correctly, this clean-out-the fridge sandwich can pack quite the punch. Take everything you know about the perfect salad and put it between two slices of bread. Here’s our guide:

Step 1: Grab at least one item from each category. (Pro-tip: go for more than one.) 

  • Something creamy:
    • Mashed chickpeas, avocado, goat cheese, cream cheese, feta, mozzarella.
  • Something crisp and crunchy:
    • Sprouts, cucumbers, onions (pickled, raw, or green), lettuce (we like Butterhead or Green Leaf for this).

Step 2: Toast two slices of bread and drizzle with olive oil. 

Step 3: Layer your chosen  ingredients between.  

Step 4: Take a moment to admire your masterpiece and enjoy.
